Shipping and delivery


We aim to get fresh coffee to you as soon as possible.

The greater Wellington area excluding the Wairarapa is free delivery. All other areas will be sent via courier and attract courier fees. 

DELIVERY DATES AND TIMES 

Porirua - We usually do deliveries every day through Porirua depending on demand.

Lower and Upper Hutt - Tuesdays and if required Fridays.

Kapiti (Pukerua Bay to Otaki) - Thursdays

NZ Wide (outside Wellington free area) - Courier post at customer cost as per website. Can take up to 5 days for delivery.

  • All orders received after 12pm work days will be delivered the next delivery day.
  • All orders received after 12pm Friday will be delivered from the following Monday on applicable delivery dates.
  • Public holidays will affect these dates and times please check our website for current service information. We will usually post a banner with upcoming holiday specific information.

DELIVERY LOCATIONS ON YOUR PROPERTY - LETTER BOXES!

  • Is your letter box big enough for the coffee bag?
  • Is it accessible, i.e. unlocked?
  • Do you have a weather protected and safe location at your front door for delivery to be left?

We will first attempt letter box delivery, failing that front door step. We will do our best to ensure it is protected from weather and theft. But providing a these assurances is your responsibility. If none of these conditions exists we will leave on front door step. We will send a delivery notification via email as soon as it is dropped at your place.

Note - This only applies to our delivery service. Courier delivery rules etc are dictated by NZ Post.

WELLINGTON FREE INFORMATION

For our Wellington free delivery area, we deliver your order personally in our marked coffee car! Delivery times are as above. On occasion when bulk is one area and only one or 2 in another area, we will use CourierPost at our cost for the lesser amount of orders. It is likely this will increase delivery times. We will send you tracking details.

NZ wide courier is conducted by Courier post. Recent and ongoing increases to courier fees mean we are constantly having to adjust our courier costs. 

RURAL FEES - if you have a rural address please select the right courier option. We have had significant losses over rural fees as they have increased significantly. Any incorrect fee selection will attract an invoice for the remaining fees owed. The courier post system knows an address is rural even if you select the option without the RD included. We get charged the fee either way! (we hate having to crack down on this, but we can not afford to continue this loss as we strive to provide a quality coffee at a reasonable price)

HOW CAN YOU SAVE ON RURAL FEES - Have you considered using a non rural address? this will save you significant cost on Courier fees. (work place, relative, local store/collection area outside rural address)

Please consider courier times when you need coffee and order in advance to ensure you don't run out!  We know what it's like to run out of coffee when you really need it and we know it's not nice! 

We are happy to accommodate urgent coffee deliveries and machine help. However these may attract urgent fees. Please contact us to discuss.
