Shipping and delivery

Coffee Delivery Information

We aim to get fresh coffee to you as soon as possible. Please review our delivery schedules and policies below.

1. Delivery Zones & Costs

  • Greater Wellington: FREE delivery (excludes Wairarapa). Delivered personally  in our marked coffee car. (some orders may be sent by courier at our cost depending on delivery demand. Tracking information will be sent after dispatch)

  • Rest of NZ / Rural: Sent via CourierPost at the customer's expense (calculated at checkout).

2. Delivery Schedule

Region Delivery Days
Wellington - Porirua Daily (depending on demand)
Hutt Valley (Lower & Upper) Tuesdays (and Fridays if required)
Kapiti (Pukerua Bay to Otaki) Thursdays
NZ Wide (Courier) Shipped daily; can take up to 5 days

  • Order Cut-off: Orders received after 12:00 PM will be processed for the next applicable delivery day.

  • Weekends: Orders placed after 12:00 PM Friday will be delivered starting the following Monday.

  • Holidays: Public holidays will affect these times; we do not roast or deliver on weekends or public holidays. Please check our website banner for updates.

3. Rural Shipping (Important)

Please ensure you select the Rural Courier option if you have an RD address.

  • Verification: CourierPost identifies rural addresses automatically. If the incorrect shipping option is selected, we will send an invoice for the remaining fees before shipping.

  • Money-Saving Tip: To avoid rural surcharges, consider shipping to a non-rural address (workplace, relative, or local collection point).

4. Drop-off Instructions & Security

For local deliveries, we attempt delivery in the following order:

  1. Letterbox: Please ensure it is large enough and unlocked.

  2. Front Door: If the letterbox is unavailable, we will leave the package at your door.

Note: While we do our best to place items in a weather-protected and safe spot, providing a secure delivery location is the customer's responsibility. You will receive an email notification the moment your delivery is dropped off. Courier post delivery locations and requirements are determined by them.

5. Urgent Requests

Please consider delivery times when ordering and ensure you order in advance.

Running out of coffee is an emergency! We are happy to accommodate urgent deliveries or machine assistance, though these may incur an additional fee.

NOTE ON SUBSCRIPTIONS: We reserve the right to adjust upcoming subscriptions to work around public holidays/weekends. In addition, we may bring subscriptions forward if they are in the same area as other deliveries.
